Life At Kirk-FP

The entire Kirk-FP family works very hard at maintaining our position within the very competitive and challenging environment within which we operate, and from time to time we take a break to relax, unwind and socialize on a different level. Here are some of our activities:

Jamaica Day – Every year during the Emancipation and Independence celebrations, we promote patriotism through the wearing of Cultural Costumes, Jamaican dishes and Jamaican folklore… fun and games.

Theme Day – “School Day” is a popular day with staff. The workload is made lighter as on that day staff members are outfitted in “school uniforms”.

Relay for Life – A true team builder. On an annual basis team members sign up to support the Jamaica Cancer Society with their thrust to raise awareness of cancer, remember and honor those who have lost the battle, celebrate with survivors and raise funds to mitigate against the dreaded disease. Members of the team find it fun to pull the “all-nighter” at the event.

HIV/AIDS Awareness – World AIDS day is observed on December 1 each year.

Football – Kirk’s Football Team entered the Business House League in 2012. We are proud of the 3rd place award that we received in the dress parade. Look out world; we will be back stronger and better in 2013 and beyond!

Dominoes – There are ardent domino players amongst us who sharpen and show their prowess each evening after work.
